I telephoned the Homewell Practice on Monday 11th January 2021 on behalf of my mother who is a patient at the Havant Health Centre because I was concerned that she had not had the Covid-19 vaccination. I spoke to a member of your Reception Team who was very polite and correctly explained that she could not give me any information in line with Data Protection legislation. I live in Plymouth, and I fully expected her to respond in this way, and fully accepted that her response was totally professional/ However, I am delighted to say, that this lady took the initiative and asked her manager whether there was anything she could do to facilitate my mother receiving the first vaccine. I had explained that my mother is 86 and very hard of hearing and had probably not understood a phone call possibly inviting her for the vaccine. I am so impressed that the Receptionist was able to organise an appointment at the Waterlooville Health Centre today at 12:40. My mother attended this appointment and all is well. A big thank you to the Receptionist!!! My name is Mark Kerridge and my mother's name is Ruth.

This surgery is amazing . All doctors and nurses are amazing.. but i will always be thankful and grateful. For the fast thinking and fast reaction getting me to hospital with my daughter.
