Having never played an instrument or read music, Linda has now started me on the road to play the saxophone and read music. She makes the lessons fun and immediately puts you at ease so you want to learn. I would highly recommend as it is great fun, sociable and a great feeling when you play the saxophone whilst reading music! A year ago I couldn't do either.

I started learning 10 years ago... never progressing as I bounced around various tutors in areas I worked, I lay to be treated as an income, often going over the same music notes with no direction... then by pure chance I come across Sax in the city. The name alone raised a smirk, so I joined up. Reasonably priced and at times to suit around my work commitments. I was received into the class as if I was an old friend. Everyone in the lesson were of mixed ages and all like myself, eager to be able to play something audibly recognisable to the ear. This didn't take long, as Linda is a great teacher, finds it easy to break down those shy barriers, and the support from the others was really helpful. I progressed better than I ever thought and soon moved up to a more experienced group. We played as a group and in pairs... absolutely fantastic and so much fun. Highly recommend trying this group out

I was a nervous and shy intermediate player, happy playing on my own but I'd fall apart if there was anyone else in the same room. I joined Linda's group lessons with the hope of overcoming this and it worked brilliantly. Linda is a warm and friendly person and her lessons were so much fun that I quite quickly overcame my shyness and now play confidently with others. Thanks Linda!

5***** teacher and lovely lady too! Extrememely patient and very good at reading/knowing what her pupils need..She is one of the best teachers Ive had with anything to be honest, she seems to work intuitively and think outside of the box, unlike a lot of other teachers, so even if you think you are unteachable, she will find a way to teach you!! Some of her pupils travel pretty far to learn with Linda! She makes learning fun, easy and she will just get on anyones level to teach in such a way they will understand. Prices are the best that I've seen around too, so really excellent value for money. I would highly recommend this teacher, Linda is one of a kind!

A great teacher who hasn't lost the sense of fun and who is very helpful to the raw beginner who has no experience of reading or playing music whatsoever. Linda is a great teacher for persons of more senior years who want it to be fun without going through the standard route of scales and theory.

Fun sessions with a good experienced teacher. Linda made me feel very welcome and I have learnt a huge amount before I started lessons I couldn’t even read music
