John is good on cycle repairs as I have had my mt bike serviced there, but the only thing that lets the shop down is wife as she is so sharp with customers as I found that out for my self when I at to get my back Tyre replaced as it was badly worn and after John Fitted it his wife asked me to dispose it, but I said I am sorry I could not do it as I was only way to meet some one and she got very rude to me. Well I am sorry John is closing down due to retirement . When I do go to the cycle shop I always makes sure his wife not there because she is so sharp with people, and if she is not there I goes and speaks to John. A few people I knows said that His wife is very sharp and nasty too.

Just super! Phoned up the day before to see if they had the bike I wanted (Claud Butler Elite), they did, so went in next day to try it out. But the display model was in the size below, and they offered to put together the one in the next size up (my size). So I deliberated and called up at 4pm ON A SATURDAY and asked them if they could put it together. They said yes. So then I arrive at closing time (5pm) and they stay open another HOUR just for me and my bike. There were only minor issues with the bike, but John spent 40 minutes making minor tweaks and even using parts off the shelves to make it perfect! I would hugely recommend this store, although it does not look great from the outside, it is fantastic. They have a good range of bikes and a HUGE range of accessories and parts that you can buy straight away. I then get a free service, yes free, after a month just to see if all is good. Customer service is the best I have ever had, from any type of shop!
This is a great shop. They really know their stuff and make a real effort to look after their customers. If you want really knowledgeable staff and a commitment to great servicing this is the place for you.
I visited this shop today to buy some spokes for my bike.very nice people very helpful why can't all shops be like this one.

Used Sivyer Cycles for a number of years, great value for spares and repairs in a small local shop - very friendly staff and excellent attention to detail. I cannot recommend them enough!
