Smack bang in the middle of two of the countries biggest council estates sits Leigh Park gardens, or rebranded as Staunton Country park. Local authorities have begun to improve the area with new landscaping, large car park, café and toilets. Still much to improve, but a great place to come for a walk and enjoy nature. Let's see how long it lasts before getting trashed again by the yocals.
Lovely little farm with cute animals, kids play area and a beautiful garden full of flowers and also a small greenhouse which I love. Calming and relaxing place to visit. Cafe and toilets facilities and shop too.
Pleasant walk along the medium trail, can be rather muddy in some places would suggest wellies or waterproof walking shoes.Plenty of parking, nice little coffee stop at the end of your walk as well as public toilets.I visit here quite often plenty of space for my dog to run around and not over crowded.
Passed through the farm on a cycle ride although more accurately, Staunton park on the other side of the road. What a wonderful place. I am looking forward to visiting again with family and especially my young grandson.
