Its a quiet and friendly pub with good clientèle.Like a country pub in many ways ,also has a nice garden.I believe it to be a listed building.15th century and above all,decent ales and country wines.Originally a Gales ales franchise before Fullers took over all Gales public houses.Never really eaten there before, so can't comment on the food.apart from a bar sandwich for just over a .which was tasty.
