Great service and set up great for Covid. We had a roast dinner here on a Sunday... It was amazing! Lovely food and the pub made us feel warm and cozy. Great place for Sunday lunch. All staff we spoke to were really friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Just attended Burns Night. The food was exquisite. A modern take on the traditional meal. So delicious. This year made even better by the wonderful group of gentleman playing and singing their Scottish ballards/songs. Definitely should be there every year. They also addressed the haggis. Fantastic night, definitely to be repeated

Absolutely amazing food, the service was beyond exceptional. They are so friendly and attentive and I can confirm 100% that they are dog friendly, bring our dog a few little treats which she greatly appreciated. Pizza was too much for my missus so they brought a box to take extra home. We will most definitely be back. PS it’s great value for money too. Thank you for having us

For an independent business, you’d think they’d want customers at a time like this (lockdown 2.0, 2020). Meal was above average. Great! Service was, by and large, above average. The problem was - at 9pm (only an hour after our booking slot at 8pm) a member of staff brings out the cutlery to polish a few tables away from my guest and I. Noisy. Very very noisy. Polish, clank, drop, smash, on her mobile phone then polish, clank, drop and smash again. Annoyingly loud. This was not only rude but this was unacceptable. We had been excited to order a dessert. But instead we left promptly. We genuinely couldn’t hear our own conversation. I caught eye contact with her a few times. She continued, though. It was as though she was doing it on purpose. The restaurant at this time was less than a quarter full. I’m actually appalled by this. We won’t return.

Pretty decent meal few things missing of the menu, but imagine the pub is very busy. Service is exceptional though, we had Louis he was brilliant and a credit to the pub. Helped by another young lady who was also very helpful. They both seemed to enjoy there job. Well done them !!!!!

Good Sunday lunch, friendly service. We sat outside, do effort service was good, the waiters didn't come out a lot, I'd recommend sitting inside. Roast was lovely, just wished I had more gravy, which they provide, but by the time they came out to check I had finished. It was really tasty none there less. Would recommend, just sit inside.

Really enjoyed our visit. We were checking the Wheelwright Arms ahead of Xmas. Were now keen to book in for the big day! Cannot recommend enough, great food, excellent service and lovely surroundings
