Went on a Sunday afternoon. The store was clean and well lit. Not busy inside but the car park was fairly busy due to Aldi. Managed to find everything. Staff happy and cheerful.

I always find it pertinent to try to look online for what you require with wickes as they don't have everything you might need in comparison to b&q let's say. I popped in to try and find a particular size skirting board. I tried to find it on my own without success. The placement of the item didn't seem logical but maybe it was a temporary home? I was unable to find anyone to help me. Whilst I couldn't see the item I wanted to check if they ever had it. Online it said they did but it may have been an online item only. I tried to find someone without success so I ended up leaving to try and find what I needed in another shop. As I was leaving I then saw 5 staff members congregated by the door talking. They may have got a sale if they were present on the shop floor and ready to help people.

Have bought good Electrical Garden Goods,Composts and Gravel,I think they are selling Top Soil now,which is good for one's Garden Bed Borders,I don't mind if they don't sell Plants.Is expensive too get your Goods delivered by them,have noticed the price going up - by about 10.00,so delivery from 20.00 to 30.00,so is important too order a abundance of Goods from them.

Quite a good product range but staff/service always so slow. I'll go to screwfix if I can now - rapid service and always smiley. Wickes, you really need to up your game.
