I WOULD NOT recommend anyone taking there loved ones to this hospital for “help”.Communication from doctors is non existent. Shelly was as helpful as she could be however the Nurse Ruth with the African accent was very combative and extremely rude, terrible phone etiquette and showed no compassion. She refused to name the DON when asked to speak to her superior, she was not knowledgeable on policies regarding if covid testing was administered to my loved one at admission. It’s disturbing that a HOSPITAL would keep someone with her disposition on there staff she made me extremely uncomfortable that my loved one was in her care. I was promised a call from Dr. Tyson that never happened , no explanation on how my loved one was diagnosed. My loved one was medicated without a clear understanding of there diagnosis. Please DO NOT voluntarily admit yourself. I have strong regret for convincing my loved one to seek treatment here and pray that they are not traumatized from having to stay at such a dreadful place. Please I encourage all who may have someone that they love who need mental health treatment stay away from this place... In All fairness I did speak with the patient advocate and she was extremely nice and tried to ease my mind as best she could but it did not alleviate my concerns about the quality of treatment that was being provided. NEVER AGAIN... I would be willing to walk a 1k miles with my loved one on my back to another facility before this one would ever be an option.

There are multiple reasons as to why I would never recommend somebody coming here. If I could, I’d give this place 0 stars. Never send a loved one here. Terrible staff such as nurses and BHT.............. also hello new haven! Don’t bother messaging back to this review. I already got your number. Sadly it doesn’t actually matter.

Don't be fooled by the photos. The place was 100% staged for these pictures. IT'S NOTHING LIKE THAT!!! The place is dirty, freezing cold, food is horrible and cold every meal. The staff treats you horribly and will mess your meds up BIG TIME. I was given 16mg of one med and only suppose to take 1.5. Another gentleman was given insulin shots and does not have diabetes. The dining room has 17 chairs and there are 30 people in the ward. Also prepare for people wandering in and out of your room at all hours. It is not a place to go to get help!! These are just a few examples. I could go on for days about this horrible place. The state needs to shut it down. DO NOT EVER GO THERE or let anyone send you there.

Worst place I have ever been... Not the type of environment for someone struggling. Pretty much no care at all from staff. I passed out from high blood pressure and had a UTI they wouldnt treat. Nurse didnt even see me while I was there. Not a calm environment...staff doesnt care about patients.

I had a family member in need of assistance & found that this location really helped him. Richelle was assigned to guide him & communicate to us some details. She spent a lot of time to get issues addressed & invested a lot of effort to accommodate his special needs. She went above & beyond what I felt was her usual assigned duties. In the end he is much better off because of the assistance he got at this location and attention to details from Richelle!

I would never recommend this place to anyone!they act like they don't care at all! when you ask something they act like they don't hear you or they sigh! people run around with no masks on!I think I had a mild case of covid when I got out! terrible food.

No regard for human life. They don't help, don't give correct meds, they don't give you a blanket or a covid test. They let people run around all night and then when you call to check up on your family they don't tell you anything even with the password. They want proof that you are relation. They are absolutely the worst place you could ever take a loved one for help

I went to behavioral hospital last week when I said I was hearing things and the people sorta helped with the voices and what I was hearing but the people where there rude lady took my phone when we has group and kinda were fake just like the others they were mean but I had good help
