Gerry taught me how to drive a few years back now. He is the most patient, caring, funny, most calming driving instructor. Nothing was ever to much trouble or hassle. He explained everything so well and clearly, even in times of panic he would make you feel at ease and safe. When my driving test was due, Gerry had a family emergency, which meant he had to leave the country. Whilst he was dealing with his own personal problems, he still took the time, to find a local driving instructor to take me to and from my driving test. Of course, I passed first time due to his legendary teaching skills! I feel that just shows the sort of person he is and the loyalty he has to his pupils. I will forever be grateful to him and will continue to sing his praises.

From not even knowing how to turn a car on let alone drive it in my first lesson, to passing first time with only 17 hours of lessons, I think that easily explains how great Gerry is. He always made me comfortable and at ease and was very good at communicating with me what I needed to work on and how I was going to do that, but also was so accommodating in figuring out lesson times. I would 1000% recommend Gerry as I could not have had a better, more comfortable experience!
Many years of stop/start driving due to social life, I gave up with the idea of passing my test, each time I booked back with Gerry. He made me feel at ease and talked me through all steps, he made my confidence grow and know that I could do it easily, after finally biting the bullet I booked my test and passed 1st time. Highly recommend his smooth nature to instructing and helping through all stages learning.

couldn’t have asked for a better instructor! gerry is always professional, kind and understanding in every situation. i passed last year and i am now a confident driver on the roads. he always remained confident in my abilities and i wouldn’t have done it without his support, couldn’t recommend him enough :)
Gerry makes learning to drive easy. He is always so cool calm and collected. He teaches you in a way which puts you at ease with what you are doing behind the wheel. I would 100% recommend Gerry to anyone that is thinking of learning to drive
So glad I got referred to Gerry - I'd had bad experiences with two previous instructors, who used to shout and rave at every mistake, and as a result I was a very nervous and unconfident driver. In constrast I found Gerry a very calming presence. He is always encouraging, and has never needed to raise his voice or make me feel over a mistake. With him I started to enjoy rather than dread driving lessons, and have now passed my practical test. Gerry is a wonderful bloke, with a vast amount of experience, and a manner that will set nervous drivers at their ease. Highly recommended to anyone!
I learnt to drive last year for the first time, and have now passed. Gerry was professional and helpful while I was learning to drive, he was reliable, helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.
