Dry, some undercooked and dangerous. much smaller portions, price doubled. New staff completely lost their passion and enthusiasm. What really bothered me was the no glove or mask wearing staff sneezing and wiping hands on items that food touches. Already had 3 people sick from this place - 2 coworkers and my brother. Also alarming comments heard regarding college student customers - \ahh their are students..dont worry\ after one staff sneezed into his hands and couldn't find some way to wash and sanitize before handling the order.

This was my first time coming here. I saw the line that they use to have when they were set up in front of the car wash place on Reseda. Now they moved to their own little shop on Lassen and the parking lot there is very small. I got the Hawaiian Plate level 2 and level 3. If you like spicy food then get level 3, i believe level 4 is their hottest one. There fries though is by far one of the best fries I ever had. The seasoning they put on it is absolutely amazing. They already had a small line forming outside when I went to pick up my order.

Dear Hawaiian Hot team, Today I ate at your brick and mortar location and I’m saddened to say that it wasn’t the same as the original parking lot location. Before, your chicken was scandalous. It was so good it should have been illegal. There was something exhilarating and lively about the parking lot location. A location that was larger than the parking available now. Before we came for the vibe that throbbed in the staff. Now I question if their hearts are even throbbing enough to sustain life. Your hot chicken was good before and it was good now, but everything around it has changed. Food was really good but I feel like that it was all hype nothing really stood out for me to the place but would come back if im to far from my regular hot chicken spot good service just a good delay because its always packed.

I first found this spot in the parking lot of a car wash. They had set up shop in the parking lot after the car wash had closed. I literally rolled my eyes drove by the first time thinking \oh another hot chicken spot\ but every time drove by the line was longer and longer. I finally pulled in waited in line, placed my order and waited for the food. I kept thinking to myself I will not be back because I hate waiting lol BUT let me tell you, I ate all of my chicken sandwich and inhaled whatever my girlfriend couldn't finish. The wait was sooo long cause they fry those delicious chicken tenders as orders come in. The hawaiian rolls combined with their sauce is amazing. So when I found out they had finally opened up a shop you best believe i took the drive from Santa Clarita down to Northridge to get some. I got an order of mild luau fries and an order of Hawaiian plate, came with 2 sandwiches and fries. Just as good as it in the car wash days.
