4 of us had Sunday lunch here. The food was great (3 chose vegan nut roast and 1 fish and chips) and the service was friendly and efficient. We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside as it was a relatively warm day and have to say that the whole COVID thing was done very well indeed. The customers indoors looked happy with that side of things too. Add all this to a really quirky and interesting location ( a canal marina full of narrowboats) and this is an excellent choice which we will visit again.

A rare find. I dined at night so the view of the quay was non existent but the food was great with some appetizing choices on the menu. I will definitely dine here again, perhaps a Sunday lunch with a view of the quay.
Superb environment and super affable service. The food was fresh and delicious. Will clearly recommend this spot to friends. Reasonable rates and large portions. Keep up the great work.
We stopped at the marina for a look at the barges and went into the Lock and Quay for lunch, the staff were very helpful, we ordered the pie and mash which was cooked fresh and was very tasty. It’s such a lovely ambience right on the waters edge and totally off road. An absolute hidden gem worth visiting. We would definitely recommended this place for quality and value and will certainly be back.
Went here during the eat out to help out scheme so everything was 50% off. The location is lovely right by the quay so we could enjoy our meal outside with a nice view. Normally a little bit above average for price of food but really delicious. Would recommend.
