Lovely cream teas available & excellent value for money. Good friendly service. Just what we needed after a days walking. Thank you \u200d️\u200d️.

Lovely beer garden with nice views. Staff are friendly and welcoming and there's are sensible covid precautions in place. The curried dirty fries were soooo tasty! Dogs allowed also. Only downside was the lack of fruity ciders with only one to choose from being the Orchard Blush.
What a find this place is! I absolutely love it here & it’s become a favourite. Great service. Covid safe. Amazing food. Nice decor. Great variety & great veggie & vegan options. I had the fish burger & the roll was made with potato- loved it! Lovely fresh fish too. Excellent place - have already recommended to several people
First draught beer post 2nd lockdown and what a perfect place for it. Good scrum too!
Superb bar and restaurant situated 25 minutes from the main beach entrance at Gwithian beach. Walked across the sand/grass dunes and through the nature reserve with two under 5s, no hassle. Food, drink, atmosphere, music and staff were immense. Thought I was in the Med momentarily! Really recommend, the prawn skewers were superb. Will definitely be going back...
Lovely place. I can't believe I found delicious vegan food so far away from human civilization . Wonderful staff , excellent service.
Very understated seaside cafe/restaurant. Friendly service and relaxed environment. Due a refurb and extension in January 2021 apparently. Had excellent sandwiches (club and a tuna sandwich) with fresh and tasty ingredients, along with kids cheese burgers and chips which went down very well. Definitely worth going to when visiting the area.
Visited on a Saturday morning, bright and early at 10am after a dog walk. Just wanted a cooked breakfast (both full Cornish but one gluten free). Although the front of house staff were great, the food was so disappointing. How can you get a breakfast so wrong?! The gluten free toast was hard, the bacon SO salty and hard, the sausage consisted of one sausage sliced in half, the fried egg was burnt (is that even possible?!) and to top it off, where were our baked beans?! With an orange juice and coffee, the bill came to 26.50 - we live 5 minutes up the road and want to support our local businesses. Unfortunately, we won’t be supporting The Rockpool anytime soon. We paid for our meal as although awful, know that businesses are suffering at the moment. The waiter didn’t ask how our food was... so after paying, we told him. This resulted in about five apologies and saying he would let the chef know. As we were getting ready to leave, we could hear the waiter feeding back to the head chef - he obviously can’t take criticism and his reply consisted of an excuse after excuse. Just accept you messed up and apologise. Is it really that difficult?! Yes we paid and shouldn’t have - we’ve been kicking ourselves since. Such a shame that an establishment that before lock down was great and after appears to have gone down hill and is so so poor. Over all, a wonderful location and front of house staff. If only the head chef was up to par.
