Nicely restored to an authentic Southern Railway standard giving the station a bygone feel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Bluebell Railway service uses steam locomotives to run a passenger service, which although perhaps is rather expensive, is good. The Bluebell Railway's carriage and wagon workshops are also here and can be visited to see the restoration and rebuilding of various railway vehicles.

We had a fabulous time for our first trip on the Santa Express from Sheffield Park Station to Horsted Keynes. There was so many little bits and pieces to look at and see along the way and it really was a lovely way to spend some down time from hectic lives as a whole family. The volunteers all put in so much effort to create an atmosphere fitting of a bygone railway era. Can't wait to visit again in 2019 hopefully travel more of the Bluebell Railway along the way.
