Great customer service, taking the time to search across all local branches for something specific

Bought a bed, mattress and a headboard. The headboard had not been finished properly and one strut was very rough wood with splinters. Unfortunately I didn't realise till I had tried to fit it on the new bed and as a result the headboard strut pulled the mattress cover and left splinters in it. While I appreciate that I do not need a whole new mattress, just getting a new strut after the damage that was done is not really customer service.

A good selection of furniture. The sales usually offer great discounts on a select range. The furniture that we have bought is very well made, good quality woods and durable finishes. Select items can be ordered/delivered.

Great company and Ethos, shame about their odd members of staff like David Dorking (Dawkin), if he gave me he right name, who was so rude, obnoxious, unhelpful and judgemental! I’ve given 5 stars regardless as all too often people score badly after a bad experience but I want to point out that apart from this horrid individual I have enjoyed their service and supporting my local company. I am going to escalate my complaint and hopefully they will deal with this member of staff appropriately or send him on a customer service course. He was extremely rude and has driven me to respond positively, as the lady before him I dealt with was so great that I unfortunately took her excellent service for granted. I will get her name and make more of an effort to recognise great service like hers rather than be put off by one bad egg. Life lesson learnt today and I hope you still shop there but don’t bump into “David!!” If that was his real name. I suspect he was so cowardly too that he has given me the incorrect name!
