I made several attempts to make contact and arrange a viewing over a few days. When they eventually picked up my phone call the conversation I had was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Nothing to identify who was speaking. No help whatsoever. He clearly wasn't interested in doing his job. I do not recommend using Connections Letting Agents. There are plenty of other agents who are there to help.

I rented a two bed flat in Haywards Road, Haywards Heath from 1st Sept 2019. However, when I first went to view the property, the Letting Agent, David Rogers, was not there. I called him and he had put the wrong appointment time down in his diary. Not a great start!! At first glance, property seemed ok so I took on the tenancy. I paid my deposit and all other fees and everything seemed ok. However, within the first month, the master bedroom wall began showing signs of damp. I contacted David Rogers and he said he would pass information onto the landlord. Didn’t hear anything back. By December, the entire wall was covered in damp. Again I raised my concerns as it could be a health hazard. David responded but saying it was an aesthetic issue, not a health one. Didn’t realise he was a trained medical professional! This issue remain unresolved until mid JULY 2020, two weeks before I was due to move out. I then had issues with storage and requested I moved out on the morning of 1st August (was due to move on 31st July). David agreed to this and I was gone by 12pm, for which he charged me an extra days rent from my deposit. My advice to anyone thinking about renting a property from this company is DON’T. David Rogers is only interested in taking your money and is an awful person to deal with. I had a terrible experience with him and I am just so glad I will never have to deal with him again. And if you are thinking about renting a property at Haywards Road from them, then be careful as the master bedroom has a chronic damp issue. It was clearly painted over when I took the property to make sure it got rented out. AWFUL COMPANY!!!
