Private pond found in Franklands Village just right in front of Snowdrop House Montessori Nursery. Fishing is not allowed but I am not 100% certain that there are fishes can be found. It would be lovely to sit on the only bench here during a sunny day and breath some fresh air.

Website newsletters appear 3yrs out of date!!!! Basic but useful info available but you do wonder how current it is given the above. Appears to be more about appearance then substance.

My father who is 95 and infirm lives in Frankland village. The carer that attends him in the evening informed me that his toilet was blocked and could not be used. I went on to the FVHA website and there is an emergency call out number that obviously deals with emergencies. The list of emergencies included non flushing toilets and blocked drains. However, when I contacted this number I was informed that blocked toilets were not covered in the emergency call out regime. After a somewhat robust conversation I left a message on about the situation on the FVHA answer phone and called them at 0800 in the morning to try and get a plumber to sort the toilet. Again I was told that they do not unblock toilets. To my mind this is scandalous to leave a 95 year old man with no means of using the toilet. I even said that I would pay for the call out but to no avail. So, non flushing toilets and blocked drains are covered but not blocked toilets, scandalous and bizarre . In the end I called and private contractor to solve the problem. PS I now understand that the plumber did attend my dads flat but was turned away by my very confused dad
