Just back from trying the Festive menu - fantastic. It's always been excellent at this particular M&C. Great service, food was wonderful (cooked to perfection with no mushy vegetables!). Compliments to the waiting staff and the chefs. A perfect lunch at a very decent price. Will be back again early in the New Year, hopefully. We need these places to be able to stay open.

Visited yesterday with friends&family for the first time and we were blown away by quality of service provided. Drinks served quickly along with plenty of water, we did not wait long for food either - served from starters to dessert and everything was in good portions as well as delicious! Really happy visiting this place and looking forward to another meal there!

Took our daughter for her first m&c meal. Firstly, worth mentioning that we all finished our meals. Wife and I have been to around 10 different m&cs and this one was the least satisfying. We all ordered different medium rare steaks. Good points: prompt, friendly and helpful service. Bad points; the onion loaf - usually excellent - was more soggy than crisp. All three steaks were more rare than medium rare. My wife’s sirloin was somewhat tough and more like rump. We did comment at the time and our waitress did offer to replace (which we didn’t). Slightly disappointing visit but it won’t put us off.

Out with 8 friends for Christmas catch up this was my first visit to Miller & Carter. This site has changed a number of times, but this is most definitely the best. Plenty of parking available around the back of the restaurant. Friendly staff, and a great menu made for an enjoyable evening. The starters, mains and desserts were enjoyed by all, no complaints, and everyone was full. The stuffed yorkies for starter, 10oz sirloin cooked rare, and sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream were my choices, and they were perfect. May be worth reserving a table if you're a large party. Will be coming back!
