We had a nice stroll around these beautiful gardens during lockdown. Not their fault that the garden is only partly open, but could only really give 3 stars because the short open route takes just 20-25 minutes to complete. We went round twice to make it worthwhile. The cafe is open for takeout, and we had a couple of pasties. I'm not big on vegan usually, but can well recommend the vegan curry pastie, very tasty

The trees are now in their autumn colours and looking great. The gardens have also moved into autumn mode with most of the flowers having gone over. Still a pleasant stroll, nonetheless. There are helpful little signs around explaining what's going on in the flowers beds and how they are being prepared for spring. Once the gardens had been walked there was the opportunity to go for a stroll in one of the woodland walks.

A well kept garden with beautiful plants for all seasons. On an overcast day there's always something to feast your eyes on! Lovely variety and kudos to the gardeners. Felt very secure, proper measure in place in these Covid-19 scarred times.

Beautiful place. Not far from the highway, so easy to get there. Parking is quite big with possibility to extend, so always enough space. The history of the place is interesting and they have a picturesque abandoned half of the building. Exhibition inside was closed, but outside you have a nice garden. They also have rose garden there. Definitely worth visiting!
