From Tote Bags and Zipped Pouches to Piped Cushions and Satchel Bags, Jenny has (so patiently!) taught me everything I know about sewing. In January last year I had my first sewing session with Jenny in her warm, welcoming Lindfield home studio and I was immediately hooked. Thanks to Jenny's considerable patience, friendliness and gentle guidance in a small, relaxed tailored class (with the best flapjacks EVER), I've become a passionate sewer - and a dedicated client! I would wholeheartedly recommend Jenny's classes for anyone from complete beginners to experienced sewers and anyone in between.

I have done several workshops at Needleswift ranging from bag making to dressmaking and also attend regularly at social sewing. It's a great welcoming place and Jenny is such a fabulous teacher. She is helpful, gives great advice and very patient and goes out of her way to make sure we all enjoy our time there. It's been lovely to meet new friends and of course new skills. I would be lost without my escapism at Needleswift.
I was given a sewing machine as a birthday present never having used one before. To be honest, I was quite scared of it! I attended one of Jenny’s beginners sessions with the machine still in its box, which thankfully started with .... ‘This is how you plug it in.’ There were 4 of us at different beginner levels and Jenny tailored things for each of us. At the end of the session I could sew in a straight line, was confident using the machine and had made a pin cushion. Since then I have been on Jenny’s workshops for making a Zipped Purse, Tote Bag and a Piped Cushion. Jenny is so friendly and her classes are relaxed. She gives you confidence and makes you believe you can do it! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her classes to anyone from absolute beginners to those with experience wishing to improve their skills.
I definitely recommend Needleswift. Jenny runs informal and relaxed sewing classes in a friendly atmosphere Dressmaking or bag making amongst other classes. I've learnt a lot with Jenny
My daughter and I have both enjoyed brilliant classes with Jenny and we're really proud of what we made under her inspirational guidance.
