Who we are Soulmates Academy helps corporate professionals build strong relationships & emotional resilience to address life's challenges before they become major issues. Founded by Jon & Andrea Taylor-Cummings in early 2017, we have a vision to stem the tide in relationship breakdown across the globe, starting with the corporate world, particularly in high-performance / high-stress environments where anecdotal evidence suggests the breakdown statistics are way above average. In early 2018 we launched our #BestSelfAtWork campaign to help corporates equip their people to better manage work/life tensions through building personal relationship capability. By doing so, employers enjoy both the social responsibility benefits of a happier/healthier workforce and the real bottom-line benefits of improved productivity and engagement. Why we do what we do Research confirms a strong positive correlation between the quality of personal relationships and engagement & performance at work. With the latest statistics and surveys suggesting that roughly half of the workforce in today’s developed world are likely to experience relationship breakdown at some point in their careers, there is a high price being paid by all concerned – the individuals themselves, their children and families, their employers, and society at large. We have seen that by helping people proactively develop relationship capability, they can better manage work/life tensions. People are freed up to be their best selves at work… and everybody wins. How we do it Our #BestSelfAtWork offering has been developed to help corporates equip their people with strong personal relationship skills as part of their ongoing personal and professional development. Our courses help people develop the habits that help them get over the inevitable hurdles of relationships. Courses are designed for busy professionals and delivered both through live workshops and via an E-learning platform.
