Really excellent. Was able to get an appt the following morning at 8.30. Streamlined service with well adopted protections for both patients and practitioners. All glasses are thoroughly cleaned after trials, examination felt very safe, everything seemed to work as normal. On top of that all the staff are great, gave good advice, allowed me to take my time and be fussy, and I felt I got a very good price for my 2 pairs new glasses and one pair of sunglasses.

Dreadful experience! The first woman we encountered sat us down and asked about our address etc. Her records were 6 years old so I updated all the details. She asked if I was still on tax credits. I said no. She said, “was there another reason you expected to not have to pay for your test today?”. How rude and sarcastic she was! I had this issue before with Specsavers in Burgess Hill years ago. They seem to think if you are in receipt of benefits they can treat you like this. I suggest if they don’t start treating people with respect, their business will go under (total rip off anyway), and they will be the ones claiming benefits! Don’t bother putting money in their pockets, buy your glasses online!

Exceptional service on a Sunday! Specsavers Haywards Heath were open when I needed them and were brilliant! I booked on line overnight and then followed up with a phoned first thing to try & get an earlier cancellation appointment. Within 30 minutes a lovely lady phoned back with a cancellation which worked even better for me. Simon carried out all the necessary tests & was really friendly and informative. I then went on to Ayesha the optometrist who really kind and put my mind at ease and explained my symptoms. All in all they couldn’t have looked after me better. Thank you very much to the whole team.
