Disappointing meal. Ordered the goats cheese tart which was only few less than a meat main so had reasonable expectations. It was small dry and flavourless. So disappointing. When asked about our meal did say it was a let down.... to be asked if they should tell the kitchen... yes we said it would be worthwhile as others will feel same and it could be good! Come to pay the bill... oh we've not told the kitchen but we might do. Yes that is a good idea! Not asked about rest of meal. Starter was ok but not great. Hence didn't stay for pudding Wont be returning!

Had a long late lunch of Roasted Pork Belly and all the trimmings, could not fault it. Managed a delicious sticky toffee pudding, which wasnt too sweet just how I like it! Extremely friendly and helpful owner, host and hostesses, even though they were very busy. Lovely warm atmosphere, will definitely return when in the area again

Really liked the tranquil location of this pub. We only stopped for a quick drink but having perused the menu, we decided to definitely go back and eat. Always a good sign when a pub menu is well thought out and quite small.

We just popped by for a drink and sat outside on one of the front benches, but it ticked the boxes for what we needed. Pub looks lovely, our of the way, and the bar tender was great and friendly. They have adhered to all of the gov regs for covid-19. Unfortunately they didnt have a New Zealand sauvignon Blanc on the wine menu, which is why I have rated 4* instead of 5*. The menu looked lovely, so we will definitely return for food one day, and perhaps I will rate them 5* then!
