It has taken me along time to find the right therapist. They are wonderful and have help me so much. You call them and return the call and put you with the right therapist for you. That mean so much is to have someone that is the right fit for you. If you are looking for therapist this is the right place to look.

I was referred to Melissa McDonald by another well respected therapist in Monmouth County. She has worked with my husband and I for more than 1 year and I have nothing but praise for her clinical skills. I have worked professionally with a couple of therapists in her practice and believe Melissa has carefully cultivated a positive therapeutic environment for both individuals and groups. Melissa has consistently provided insightful feedback, encouragement to promote change and a non-judgmental setting which enables clients to communicate safely about difficult issues. My husband and I have been in therapy intermittently for quite some time w other providers and the treatment we receive at HBH is consistently professional and based on sound, evidence-based therapeutic interventions. I have recommended the practice on several occasions, which I haven't been comfortable doing in the past with other providers. Great therapists are extremely hard to find and my husband and I are grateful for the opportunity to work with Melissa.

My sessions with my therapist at HBH are the highlight of my week no matter what mood I’m in. I’ve been going to HBH for a little over a month now and it’s the first time I’ve ever spoken to a professional. The most important thing for me when deciding to go to therapy was that I liked who I was talking to - and my therapist is really awesome. Having the profiles online was helpful because I was able to read about each individual therapist and pick who I thought would work for me. 5 stars from me for HBH :)

I would never recommend this place to anyone. From the day I walked in there I made it very clear what my goals were… And after six weeks of appointments they finally told me they would not be able to help me. They basically strung me along for six weeks taking my money knowing full well they would not be willing to help me with my issue. Months after I stopped going there… Without my knowledge, they charged my debit card again for another 150 dollars of what they claim to be fees I owed them and because I was not notified about those fees being charged it overdrafted my account and cost me hundreds of more dollars in fees. I called and left messages to try to fix the situation and they did refund partial of the money!! Partial!! With no care for all of the extra fees they caused me because of their negligence. They are not to be trusted.
