Do not take out pet insurance with these people. Our dog was over 6 years old so we took a lifetime plan. We were never informed of a 20% fee to pay of the bill. As well as paying the excess fees. So you get the joy of covering the short fall of 20% of whatever your total bill is. I would never have taken this policy if they had told me this up front. Money supermarket now have clear warnings on there site about this hidden fee. As it was never there prior to us getting the policy. the staff are pleasant but not very helpful. I am currently in talks with legal advice as to how they can not make this charge very clear when taking a policy. In summary AVOID these people if you care for your pet. As this company only care about getting your money.

My dog was attacked by another dog that is insured by HealthyPets. Completed the paperwork and sent to them in 8 months ago and no one has contacted me. When we call they are always waiting on more information but wont tell us what they required so we can get sorted. Very poor communication.
This company is quick to take your money and look for any reason not to pay out. Left my vets waiting months and after lots of chasing on my part it was always \we are waiting for information from your vets\ then it would be a miraculous \oh they've just replied\ (yeh 3 weeks ago!). Now an opinion and hindsight is being taken as proof of a pre existing condition (because obviously I let my dog suffer for over a year to the point of hours from dying and had cover for 4 months before claiming!!) I am under so much stress this is just pushing me over the edge. Thanks for nothing healthy pets. You money grabbing, dishonest, uncaring b******s.
I had a policy with them for 13 years ( never claimed) I only claimed when my dog was ill with heart failure on the last year,( he died shortly after) I claimed for a bill which was 789, I got 39 back as a result of hidden fees .. they even charged me a whole extra years fee of 200 because he died near a renewal date .. DO NOT USE they rip you off, this has been so stressful and this company made the whole experience of loosing my dog so much worse
Always been a very good service, just had a claim approved for my dog, kept informed by text and email of status of claim, as treatment was received at two vets I had a couple of questions which were answered quickly. This is the 4th time (i know unlucky) that I have claimed and never had any problems
