I hired Hearth Haven to install a gas line and a new gas fireplace in my home. Five months after the installation I need several hundred dollars of replacement parts due to their fireplace installer not following the installation instructions for the unit's ceramic panels, thus voiding my warranty. The installer was either incompetent or lazy, as all 12 required fasteners were not used. As a result, the panels warped, cracked and infringed on the rear log, ruining the pin locating holes. I have made numerous attempts in the last 10 days to get Tom, the owner, to talk to me. Phone calls weren't returned and text messages ignored. I left a detailed message regarding my issues on their website. No response. So now , I'll probably have to file a complaint with the BBB to get this guy to respond. Very disappointed at this point. The best gage of a service company's integrity is how well they stand behind their work after they've been paid. In that regard, Hearth Haven fails miserably.

I feel like I lucked out big time when I found Hearth Haven. I am old enough to remember a time when businesses were not corporations/chains. They were owned by local folks. The professional people that worked with me on my project were everything I could have hoped for: extremely knowledgeable, thorough, efficient. They are honest. And get this -- they care about their work and won't settle for anything less than perfect. And on top of that -- they are really nice and kind. You can't go wrong by choosing Hearth Haven.
Tom, Casey and the crew at Hearth Haven are a tremendous resource for all your stove and hearth needs. The customer service they provide is above and beyond any others out there. Their personal approach and obvious love of the business comes through in the way they treat their customers and the quality they insist on in their products. It has been a pleasure working with them and we have already recommended them to our friends and family.
Great service, knowledge and professionalism. Regency wood stove insert was just what we needed to warm our house during these increasingly harsh CT winters. I highly recommend Hearth Haven and will continue to rely upon them for all my wood stove & heating needs.
I purchased glass fire doors for my fireplace at the end of last winter. The installation was both professional and completed within the agreed upon time frame. The doors themselves are high quality, attractive and fit my budget. I recommend Hearth Haven to anyone who is looking for professional, friendly service.
Bought some stove parts here today. Very friendly and helpful staff. I could have bought cheaper online but they had them in stock and I was happy with their knowledge and service so I purchased with them.
Tom and his crew are great! Friendly and helpful and installation of our cast iron fire place was a breeze! Would def recommend.
