Very mild flavor and nice texture. No fishy smell or taste after cooking. I read a review that said his smelled bad. Id be suspicious it was Walmart's handling that caused the problem. I buy a bag every month and have not had a bad bag yet.

Last two times got this from walmart grocery each time opened up to foul rotten smell so disgusting, was not expired had good look to it but the smell was horrible not catfish smell
