I seriously has the best time and learned a lot. My goal was to learn the basics so that I could keep practicing alone and then out fish my brothers. Brian was patient with me. It seriously can’t be easy repeating yourself 97 times an hour while teaching someone, but he was kind and encouraging. I feel prepared to go fish without a guide and out fish ALL the guys!

Hiking with WAO was a wonderful experience. I explained to my guide, Kate that I am a very slow hiker and wanted to hike 3 to 5 miles in a heavily shaded area. I thought we would hike in Wasatch Mountain State Park, so we agreed to meet at the Midway park headquarters. Upon meeting Kate suggested we hike Blood Lake, a 15 minute drive away, near Guardsman Pass. It was a perfect choice. Unlike other hikes I have done in Utah, there were no extreme difficult, rock strewn section or scree. I couldn't imagine a better trail. I plan to hike with WAO when I return to Utah and hope they will recommend a trail nearly as good as this one.

Guided evening snowshoeing and a dinner. Diner was the problem and why I felt I had to leave a review. Cheese plate was great everything else was not good and not worth even 50 per person. Too expensive if you give that kind of product. Great location, fun little hike. Great Yurt. Great Guide. Terrible food. Lower your price and then people can lower their expectations.

Delicious food, well organized, and gracious hosts. My favorite part, s’mores with all different marshmallow, chocolate, and locally made cookie options!

Brian, our guide, was super knowledgeable and about the easiest going guy of all time. He made the chilling cold day super care free and we bagged some browns. Would recommend!

My boyfriend and I took my dad fly fishing for the first time while they were here to visit, and he caught multiple fish including the catch of the day! It was really fun to see the joy on his face which seemed to be the theme when my boyfriend displayed his catch too. Bryan, our guide, was on top of every hook and bite leading us through the technique to reel them in. Thanks WAO!
