I am a student at the Adeyfield Academy moving forward into year 8 next academic year, Since moving to this academy in year 7, I was like a steaming fire, after about a fortnight, I was really settled in, I managed to guide myself around the buildings/building's, I was able to get along with the students and the teachers, I have a small group of sensible kind friends that have the same personality as me, finally I have enjoyed all my lessons, freedom, and leadership opportunities. However a few months in, I started getting bullied, and this caused me to get upset, I was not alone, the staff here have helped me hugely and this was all dealt with where I am now able to enjoy being at school with out any concern or worries. The lessons are incredible, they are well thought out, challenging in a good way, fun, educational and most importantly inspiring. The staff are always so helpful. The staff do praise you with house points, golden tickets, certificates, vouchers, prizes and so much more, of course there is discipline, but do not worry just try hard, behave, be kind, and respect your peers, classmates, and your teachers. Finally the leadership roles are really brilliant, my confidence has risen hugely, due to the staff helping me achieve my potential, I have became a library leader, house captain, and an open evening/parent's evening ambassador. Overall this is an incredible academy, and the staff are very hardworking, kind, thoughtful, and intelligent, thank you for an amazing year to all of The Adeyfield Academy staff, and good luck to the new year 7's, trust me you will fit in eventually. :) Written By- Robert Vinyard

this school is awful. They are only trying to make the school look good they are not actually making any improvements with in the school. They are more worried about uniform than the learning. And I am pretty sure they will hire anyone, and I would rather not go into some of the type of people they do!

Adeyfield school will go the same way as Highfield school did, history will repeat itself unless action is taken to prevent it from happening again, if the school governers don't do something quick, within a few years Adeyfield will have a new housing development where the school once stood!!

So I recently moved from Hemel to Hounslow and must say I am so relieved that my children no longer have to attend this school. Although the behaviour has improved since Mr Martin has left, the new Headteachers Ms Chapman & Ms Mason are out of their depth. Ms Mason is kind and tries hard but seems lost; my son had huge issues with bullying but she was unable to do too much about it as Ms Chapman refused to acknowledge the issue and dismissed the claims of racism against my son. Truly awful conduct for someone who is allegedly a National Leader of Teaching. Despite all this, my children did have some good teaching at Adeyfield mainly in English (Ms Harwood and Ms Tredwell) and in Maths (Mr Rance). This school could be terrific but needs strong leadership to support Ms Mason and Ms Chapman is not the person to do that as her priority is her own reputation and empire building, rather than improving the quality of education for children at this school.
