I skate at planet ice quite a bit. It is not a bad experience. There are pillars in the rink, which is a bit weird, but you can use them for skating in circles practice. For the most part the staff are friendly, and on the ice there is a good atmosphere, people often say hello or offer to help each other.

Good place to spend few hours with kids. Very simple to book. Can suggest the branch for some more refurbishment to look best.

Tiny rink. Only a few more to go to MK which is a full size rink. No skate sharpening which is disappointing. Ice gets battered and isn't fixed throughout the day. Good point is that the penguins are freely available for children.
