We are management consultants specialising in change and leadership and are a creative bunch. Started in 1997 and have now helped transform both huge companies (and smaller ones) as well as many public services - they tend to go on and win awards - and stay in business! There are four directors. I am MD and tend to get asked to do the impossible - thank goodness I assume there is a solution to every problem. You'd probably know it as strategy, governance and holistic thought leadership but in plain speak the requests tend to be from CEOs and sound like this: 'I need to do something with my team'​ or 'we have to take 40% out of our costs or 'how can I get those buggers in a 'partner'​ organisation to deliver with me?'​ or 'we can't work any harder but we haven't got any more capacity'​ or 'how do I get my managers engaged?'​ Sound familiar? My Chair, Mike Cheeseman, started and ran QA Training for more than a decade - it became the largest IT training company in Europe and second largest in the world, so he is a great challenge to our business thinking and is in huge demand for helping Boards increase their effectiveness. Karen Cove, Director of Talent and Ops, ran leisure centres in her 20s and has since managed our largest Organisation Development programmes eg in hospitals, water companies and production ones too. Richard Carr, Business Development Director, is our knowledge guru and helps turn that into IP. His background is being MD of several publishing houses. His bent is towards Total Place....
