Great pub, very rustic look and lovely selection of roasts (both meat and vegetarian). Dessert was very tasty (though I wouldn't say the crumble portion was to be shared). Staff were nice and service was quick. The only two issues were parking (staff parking was empty, but it can't be used by clients) and the app- really not convenient having to download an app to order food. Otherwise it was a great Sunday meal.

Wonderful! Came in for a Sunday roast and wasn't disappointed. Service was really good, speedy, polite, fun! Food came quickly but could tell it wasn't microwaved. The Table Bread was really nice as a starter to share. Nice and warm, wouldn't be surprised if home baked! Followed by a good size plate of Roast Beef roast! Lush! Roast potatoes were spot on, crunchy and soft. Massive Yorkie! One of the best roasts I've had. Vegan Wellington, my wife said was very tasty as well and was so a good sized portion! If we come back this way, we shall be sure to visit again.

Came here last weekend, and were not disappointed, except maybe a bit of a long wait but again, there was a good crowd in there. No complaints about the three or four dishes, good amount, nice presentation. Quite clear it’s a popular place, relaxing ambience, excellent staff too here.

Let's start with the good : the food and general ambience was quite good. Some interesting choices on the menu, good range of beers.... Not bad! Now the bad: I get these are strange times but they really don't appear to give a 'fig' about Covid. Whilst the staff are masked a significant majority of customers are walking around unmasked. Where I sat - 21 people walked past me without a mask. Only 2 of these were challenged by the staff [same guy - kudos to \bald bar guy\ (sorry, don't know your name!!)]. So, in summary - lots of potential, good ambience but an increased Covid risk. Make your own choice

It's hard to know what rating to give this place. It could have been a great Sunday lunch, if not for the very very long wait for our food and the (and I don't say this lightly) inedible cut off roast beef. It was the only time I have ever eaten anything that I simply could not chew to swallow... An incredibly tough, cheap cut. It's such a shame as the rest of the roast and sides were great, and the setting is very nice.
