Great flying club with superb staff. Generally always have aircraft available and have three good grass runways. Can be liable to waterlogging after spring rains though.

Very friendly staff. Great fun if you have an experience package or if you'd like to learn how to fly then they have plenty of knowledgeable instructors that can help.
I purchased a flying lesson experience for my two sons as a Christmas present. They both thoroughly enjoyed their time in the air. Their instructor was very friendly and experienced, the lady in the reception was lovely and would recommend Henlow Flying School to anybody. As a family we'll be back. Thank you.
I looked at various clubs before choosing Henlow, as I wanted somewhere friendly, but professional. Having been there for 18 months now, and done all my PPL training/tests there, I can honestly say it's great place and setup. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable and capable, with a nice mix of personalities. All of the operations staff are also very friendly and helpful (a box of cakes/biscuits sometimes helps :) Price wise, very competitive, and a good flexible approach for students to follow. The Chief Flying Instructor (Andy), is extremely capable, and as friendly as you could get, whilst at the same time being very professional, adapting his approach to the individual student. They also offer flying experiences, and having seen many people come in for these, it's great to see how well they are treated.
I'm currently learning to do my PPL, and so far the experience has been fantastic! This is located on the RAF Base, you will need to pre-book any sort of flying using the phone numbers. Quick and easy to do! Bring your ID & Passport on your visit to gain access. The instructors there are willing to assist you in any way as possible, and there is a decent amount of instructors to get you many flying hours! The prices for them are the cheapest about! Give it a go!
