Good food. Always chose to eat here when in Hereford. Little pricey, but what isn't these days. As long as its quality that's all that matters. Only fault I would complain about today was the lady on the till at lunch time 14th Oct , made us feel like we were being a nuisance. Looked like she didn't want to be there. Seemed in a rush to serve us and yet it wasn't that busy. Manners go a long way so does good service. Hence 3 stars I'm afraid. You can produce fab food, but if the service is poor its just not good enough sadly.

Uplifting experience....very pleasant cafe occupies part of an ancient still functioning church. Excellent menu, friendly service.Highly recommended as a haven for tourists and tired shoppers.
All Saints Church in Hereford dates from the early 13th century, but through damage little remains of the initial construction. Most notable is the twist in the spire. With weak ground beneath th foundations, the spire twisted soon after it was built. The twist developed further when the iron stays holding the stones in place rusted away. The church was extensively restored in 1996 and it is now a multi-use space. Services are still held, but most of the space is occupied by a cafe. The church still boasts ornately carved, 14th century misericords. The colourful stained glass in the east window depicts Hereford's patron saints, St Aethelbert and St Thomas de Cantelupe. Many of the church windows are by the Arts and Crafts artist Margaret Edith Aldrich Rope.
A lovely church with great refreshments. Dual purpose done very well.
The food is excellent and the service is very good
