A good history of settlement in Terrace. Ten different buildings sit on the site; eight of these are original log structures relocated to the Museum grounds from various locations in the Terrace area. Within each of the buildings there are artefact displays exhibiting the local settlement history of Terrace and the surrounding area. Displays highlight industries such as logging, mining, trapping, farming, and tourism, as well as the general ways of life of newcomers to this area. Tours are offered. Entrance by donation.

Love this place!! They always make it fun for the kids, whether its Haloween or Easter, the kids always have a blast. We also enjoy the car shows here as well. They always have lots of fun stuff going on here. The kids especially love the pony rides on Canada day as well
What a beautiful tribute to the past! This collection of working cabins, from the smithery to the one room schoolhouse is a treat! We loved the sweet kitty cat who seemed to want to be our guide, too!
Kind of disappointing that there was no mention of the original people who probably did a lot to help
Such a beautiful place to go. All by donation! Love that they do special events during holidays. Also, if you have the time and a group with kids the tour is well worth it if they are able! Super informative. We had kids ranging from 5 to 10 and they all enjoyed learning about the history!
Great view
Nice way to get to know the history of the area. Entry by donation. Good spot for families.
Nice place for a stroll and visiting the Show N' Shine for Father's Day.
