Not usually covered by insurance. Very expensive and they aren’t good about explaining costs upfront. 378 was supposed to be for initial appointment, labs and follow up appointment. Then I get a separate bill later for the labs. Apparently, 378 is for two 10 minute appointments with a Nurse Practitioner and to just draw blood...actual lab work is additional. This is the part that wasn’t communicated properly. Appointments were very rushed, presented options with no real guidance and then expected to decide. Lack of follow thru (had to chase them down to call in a prescription). What they really want is to sign you up for expensive monthly hormone injections that you may or may not need, no regard to root cause of any imbalances if you have an imbalance. Would be 1 star but the nurse who draws blood was outstanding, earning her own star. I had high hopes for this clinic but sadly, very disappointed. If they ever do anything that changes my opinion I’ll happily update this review. As of now, definitely feel like I overpaid.

Ladies, Do NOT, I repeat, Do NOT go to HerKare. It's a scam and a cash cow. I started going to an Endo doctor at UT Southwestern for a second opinion, she is WONDERFUL!! I had been going to HerKare for about a year but often questioned them because they were incompetent (imo) and there was a high turnover (red flag) My new Dr said that she is well aware of this place. She said they will often misdiagnose you on purpose and put you on the wrong medicine to the point where if you legitimately did not have a thyroid problem before, you now have one because it got used to the medicine. I cannot urge you enough to see a credible endocrinologist instead not going to HerKare
