The hiking trail is normal. We expected more beautiful landscape.

Despite the recent heather fires, the Meinweg is a pleasant park to visit for hiking and relaxation. Departing from the parking lot, one can walk next to the former Iron Rhine railway which has been abandoned, and will reach the view tower after maybe 20 minutes. The tower affords great views of the heather, which has kind of an eerie beauty now blackened by fire. Walking further into the park, one can reach the border between the Netherlands and Germany which is formed partially by the fairly scenic Buschbach brook
Lovely place to walk , cycle or take trip with horse carriage. Also the restaurant is quite a nice place with good selection. For kids some adventure play equipment.
Beautiful landscape with different types of vegetation. Cycling and walking routes are clearly indicated.
Great bike route. Walk route lack in bench.
