Brilliant spot on the valley, small vineyard with a lot to offer from organic veggies, to small scale eatery and take away everything is made on site. the wine is different of what I was expected, think about wooded sauvignon blanc, really nice rosé et exceptionally good red blend, and that's really refreshing ;) You can spend hours to talk about wine with passionated people and the setting is splendid. I will definitely come back; another boutique winery on the valley that deserve much more attention.

Wonderfull little vinyard just outside Hermanus. Very calm and serene. Good selection of wine, very well priced organic restaurant. Definitely worth the stop!

An interesting story inside. Don’t miss this winery and tasting. On approach I thought this could be interesting with a rather negative bias. I was reminded to never judge a book by its cover. Don’t be put off if you’re the only car there. Even better. Barto called son Pieter to attend to us. Well, a fountain of knowledge and most attentive Pieter was, sharing without hesitation and making the entire experience one not to be forgotten. There’s good pedigree here, with years of Bartho’s experience being passed down, and their input into the Wijnskool, a great idea. Loved the ‘crush dash’ story, the old mill and many others. Obviously we bought wine!. It’s good, and was delivered faultlessly in Joburg. Thanks Pieter.
