Dropped a week before my wedding! Yes, you read that right, Andre from FAB events dropped me a week before my wedding due to not being comfortable with the vases that I out sourced. We went from a 120 guests to 16 due to COVID-19 as many of our guests had to travel from overseas. Even though government restrictions were lifted before our date, we decided to keep it small after all the losses experienced during the year. The impression I received from Andre and FAB events was that they were not impressed that I would only be using my deposit that I originally paid in Feb (my wedding was in November) and not purchasing more by having a big wedding. During lockdown no email was every received to keep in touch and to find out if any wedding plans had changed. They took ages to respond to any emails and spelled my name wrong, which in the wedding industry is a big no no to misspell the brides name (not to mention, its rather easy). Only after suggesting that they add an out of office did they actually do so but waiting 2 weeks for a response is still not acceptable. I shared all hired items, sizes and actual images of the items in a spreadsheet months before the date but no, they had to cancel a week before. I do not wish any future bride to go through the emotional trauma they put me through. I am happy to answer any questions privately from any bride to be on this matter.
