Confer to Cliff Path Hiking Trail Hermanus A lovely trail for walking along the shore with excellent opportunities to watch the Southern Right whales in the winter season. Starting from Gearings Point to the New Harbor. Lingering for a while at the different viewing points and benches and with a little luck and patience you will get stunning and awesome views and impressions of the gentle giants. I think one of the best places for landbased whale watching. In addition a short video clip, unworked/unedited. Moreover some small maps to give an overview.

Make sure you do the walk - well worth it - seems safe enough - security regularly walk the path - pop down into the coves - shells galore ! Lovely path - no hesitation- do it

It is exiting to walk the Hermanus Cliff Path. The Walker Bay scenery changes with every hundred of steps. Awesome Unfortunately you have also be careful not to step into dogs excrement. Some dog owners use the Cliff Path as dogs toilet. What a shame.

Great view of the Hermanus shoreline with the waves coming in an smashing on the rocks. Easy walk on a paved ground. We even saw two whales exhaling. Awesome!

It's a scenic and peaceful walk with a lovely restaurant near by. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
