The most stressful part of getting this job done was wasting time (weeks) calling OTHER people first who wouldn't return calls, said they didnt have equipment to do the job, or said they would come out and didn't. After a co-worker highly recommended Hopkins I called and Mike Hopkins was out at my house 15 minutes later and I had an estimate the next day. After approving the work I came home from work the next business day to a job just about finished. I was impressed that they used the right size equipment not to get the job done as quick as possible, but instead to minimize lawn damage and do the job right. It also looks like the company is large enough to have their own equipment which I am sure saved me money on my project and allowed them to use the right equipment. My project was small and just a pad for a swingset that required de-stumping, fill, leveling, compacting, wood chips and repair of lawn from machine damage. The people working on my project were very nice and kept the work area clean without wasting material. I will call them first when my driveway is ready for paving.
