Horrible pharmacy, I had a death in the family (my brother) and had permission from my doctor to fill it early as my brother's affairs are all in Michigan. First they told me that the doctor didn't authorize it to be filled early which was lie number 1, then they told me that my insurance wouldn't pay to fill it early, which was lie number 2 as I verified it with my insurance company, so then I took my the proof in to show that my brother did in fact die and they showed the compassion of a wet noodle. As a long time ex Publix employee this is not what I'd expect from Publix people. Needless to say I transferred all my prescriptions to another pharmacy

A phonecall would of been nice! They had to order my daughter's Abilify...told it will be ready tomorrow 1pm. I call to make sure it's ready...OH! it did not come in the order today...will be in on the 13th. Do you people understand what Abilify is for? My daughter will commit suicide if she misses a dose, it's a must have daily! I told her to search other Publix to see if they have it and I want it done quick! I work nightshift and gave up precious sleep for this 1pm order. Dunnellon Publix had it and they are alot nicer than the folks in Hernando. 5 people working there today and one could of called and said... " We are so sorry, your order will not arrive until the 13th. We see that our other stores have it, would you like us to call and transfer it there"? As a former CVS pharmacy tech I know how this should of went. Go to the Dunnellon Publix....it's beautiful and worth the trip!

Pharmacy staff is amazing here! I needed prescriptions filled with no insurance (self-employed) and Wesley took the time to price everything out for me while I shopped. I have encountered pharmacy staff before that look totally annoyed when I ask them to price it out but NOT these folks! They did it happily! They were busy yet still filled my scripts in less than 30 minutes...AND he found me a 40 savings on one of them while busy!! Pharmacy tech was also very kind and helpful! KUDOS Publix pharmacy!!

The staff are always courteous and acknowledge your presence even if they are busy. They also are always ensuring to ask if you have any questions. I feel the service is Great!
