I have been getting acrylic nails for over 10 years and have tried a few nail bars in Hertford - these guys are definitely my favourite. Always so friendly, will always squeeze you in and always happy to accommodate whatever you want! Nails always last and great finish.

Every time I’m desperate enough to go here I get told just five minutes you wait for half an hour and still then just two mins, appointments are never in time either. This time I walked out which I’ve done many tines before. Keep forgetting how bad the service is. Boycotting this place never again.
I booked a wax appointment for 11am. I arrived on time and was told to take a seat. 10 minutes later I'm still waiting, so I get up and ask how much longer I will be waiting. The staff spoke amongst themselves in their language and then ignored me standing there for a few seconds before then telling me "10-15 minutes" more!! I said thank you and walked out. Their audacity shocked me, they were so casual about it like my time didn't matter, no apology or anything was offered. I drove to Hertford especially to try this place out as it's more conveniently located and the prices were similar to my usual, but never again. This place disgusts me. And now my morning has been wasted as I've had to look for another place that still had appointments on short notice. If I could score this place a zero I would, but then I couldn't leave this review. Avoid this place at all costs. The lack of even adequate customer service, can only suggest that the quality once you are served would be its equal if not less so. A company that doesn't respect your time and your efforts to respect theirs by not being late, doesn't deserve your money!
I have been going to D&J Nails for just over a year. I have gone from a nail biter of 20 years to having beautiful natural nails. Their good advice and friendliness really make it a great experience. I now love having SNS done on my nails and they have got such a broad range of colours. My nails each time look neat, healthy and natural. Thank you D&J!
Fast service and thorough
Not impressed!! I booked appaointment and was told 30 when I booked it. When I went to pay they said it was 40 because they'd used a shellac varnish which I did not agree, also one of the nails is noticably wonky and ive had a couple of comments from friends about it. This is the second time I've been there and I wasn't too pleased the first time but thought I'd give them another chance. I will never waste my money going there again. They are far more expensive than a lot places and in my opinion not very good. I never write bad reviews but felt the need to warn people of this place. They only take CASH, no other way to pay. no receipts given either.
Terrible eyebrow threading and rude. Save yourself the money.
I have been to D & J Nails for the last 10 years, since they first opened and have been very happy with the service. Always with welcoming and friendly approach. They will try their very best to make sure that I am happy with my nails before leaving the salon, even though I can be very picky.
