First order was fine, spent over 1400. The only problem was that one of the items wasn't in stock and we had to wait along time for it even though the website let us pay for it. During this time we swapped the out of stock item for the blanket box but it was delivered to the wrong address (billing address not address previous order was sent to). This meant that my 90 year old grandad with dementia took the order and he was made to sign for it saying it was in good condition when though the order stated for customer to open later ( box comes heavily packaged). How can you sign and say something is in good condition when you haven't opened it??!! Regardless of this it was sent to WRONG ADDRESS which direct furniture land take NO responsibility for. As it was delivered to a different county and I am 7 months pregnant, I could not pick it up straight away. When I did collect (within 30 days) I then noticed the box was split. On contacting direct furniture land I found they were CLOSED for over 10 DAYS??!! I contacted them on the day they opened and was originally asked if I would accept 50% discount as seen to which I said no I just want replacement or refund. I was then asked why I didn't contact sooner so had to explain they were closed and sent order to wrong address and now they are saying as it was signed for there's nothing they can do!!! Never mind the consumer rights act they quote on their website!! We were very patient with them when they made an error and let us pay for an item that was out of stock and now they want to be difficult about a box that is clearly damaged and unused that costs around 120 pounds. Think customer service is very poor and will be taking complaint to Ombudsmen, watchdog, papers etc.

This company is a sham, they've took payment for an oak cabinet that has never been delivered, they're number no longer works when we call and they do not answer emails from us! They have robbed us of 200.00
