Agoria Solar Team is a non-profit project of the University of Leuven (Campus Group T). GOAL Every two years, a new team of students with backgrounds in engineering takes on the challenge to design and produce a car solely powered by the sun's energy to compete in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, a staggering race of 321 km through the Australian outback against high ranking universities like MIT, TU Delft, Stanford, etc. VISION The project wants to prove that sustainable transportation is possible, in combination with the super-efficient use of top technologies. Generating interest among young people for science and technology, and encouraging entrepreneurship among its team members are strong pillars of the project's vision.
