Definitely not Helpful, & Very Unprofessional especially if they complain how long you were there as if u want 2 be there wasting your own time... One Person says one thing and in a split second the next person disregards it and says another thing and at the End u feel like u have to Defend Yourself which defeats the purpose... Also Why Would Detective Smith say I'm trying to get different people to help me so I can get different answers But if that were True Then i don't think I would of informed the officer I came there Once to talk to someone previously but felt like I didn't get anywhere so I came Back; Because I Definitely Didn't have to mention it at all if that Were True...!! Very Unprofessional People at this Precinct...!!

The officers are very nice btw I'm Hispanic and my accent is not super good but the officer was very friendly I would give it a 10 star review but the max is 5
Was stopped yesterday at around 7 p.m due to a front light at pennusala and Rockaway turnpike in the v.i p. Pediatric parking lot i was driving my sons car and the officer approached me with all respect. I told the officer that i was disabled. Which i am due to stroke i suffered 5 years ago . When the officer saw me he told me to fix the light and have a good night . I want to say to that officer thank you from the bottom of my heart . His empathy and professionalism is unbelievable. I don't his name but god bless him .
On 2 occasions I needed the police department for help. Both with 0 help whatsoever. 1 time I almost got into a screaming match with someone. They blocked my car in and I could not get out. I had to go to the hospital. I called the police while the guy was screaming at me and the officer of this department who answered the phone hung up on me. I called 911 to explain the situation and the police still did not show up. I'm so glad I did not get hit by this maniac. Then last night, a house around the block decided to hire a DJ and start at 10 pm. Quiet time I'm the town is at 11. I fell asleep and woke up to loud music. I could not go to sleep. I called the prrcient and they told me they had multiple reports and they were on their way. I stayed up for another hour as I could not go to sleep. The music is still blasting. They never went to shut down the party. I called back and the officer who picked up said it was already taken care of. When I told him it was not, he seemed to not care. At 3 am, the party wrapped up. Unacceptable example of a police department. Update 6/17. I'm leaving this as 1 star because the 4th pct was called to a neighbor's home. An unknown person blocked his driveway and parked on the sidewalk. The car also was missing a registration sticker. The police officer came and the officer stepped outside and confirmed that the cars sticker was not there. The owner of the car saw this and came out The officer let him go. No parking ticket, no ticket for no registration. Kind of corrupt..
Unusual activity on my block at a late hour involving small children, officer who answered the phone at the precinct was calm and helpful and a car was sent immediately to assess the situation. I spoke to the responding officer and he was also courteous.
