From day-one, Said (the manager) and the rest of the staff seemed to know me by name every time I go into the branch. Said has also been incredibly helpful with questions. Plus, they have a drive-thru and safe deposit boxes. A

The manager Saeed I believe his name is, hung up in my face while I was speaking with him cause a customer walked in and needed help as did I. But instead He chose to hang up on me . NYCB has upgraded their whole system and it’s now day 4 and we can not get reps on phone I’ve sat on hold for 4 hours a day waiting and then when you call the branch for help a manager tells you just to wait we are working it out and hangs upon you

I’ve been their customer for years. I made an online payment, I had accidentally typed in the account number missing a zero however the last four numbers of my account were accurate. The bank charged me a 20 fee and I wasn’t even aware of it, nobody had called and told me. I’m signed up for estatements yet my online password and login never worked correctly. This issue occurred again I was charged a fee again. At that point I was at the bank and asked for my bank history print out where I noticed the fee. I was refunded once. I just don’t think that it’s fair for them to charge a fee of 20 when the last four of the account numbers match or they shouldn’t allow the payment to go through or have there representatives call and let the customer who has a years of relationship know. Charging someone a fee of 20 is just unfair. The customer should have been notified it’s like a whole set up. Other banks don’t work like that. I mistakenly missed a zero not the last four digits of my account number. They shouldn’t allow the payment to go through. It’s just not right.
