Lovely little spot. Tables to sit out on the green in good weather. Run by a very friendly couple. Good cafe food/drinks and you can pick up some garden pots from Errington Reay (opposite) while you're there. Perfect place to stop on the A69 between Newcastle and Carlisle.

Really nice little spot, this. Excellent toastie, cake and coffee. It's a real village shop too: the regulars are known by name and it has that feel of somewhere people would meet up. Purely as a note, the range of hot food isn't massive - no bacon sarnies that I could see on the menu board, for example - but there is a decent choice and it really isn't an issue. I'll certainly come back...
Wonderful takeaway coffee and scones. Well worth a visit.
