Lovely house in good surroundings. It's a little tired and needs some TLC.

Perfect setting for a friends get together in a beautiful part of the Northumbrian countryside. The house itself is set out so well and interior is second to none. Plenty of space for everyone, perfect getaway.

Without a doubt, this is one of the best holiday homes, I have ever stayed in. The house comfortably holds 14 people, each room is beautiful, beds are really comfortable too. Our girls weekend went perfectly, the whole process from booking to leaving was easy, we got fantastic recommendations for activities, from yoga to cocktail mixing class. I truly enjoyed walking, the scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. Will definitely be booking Beltingham House again. If anyone is thinking of booking here, I would full recommend you do it, you won't be disappointed, it is everything it says it is and better. I organised 14 ladies & no-one had a bad word to say about the house. An amazing weekend had by all.

In fact it was Beltingham village we visited.A delightful hamlet with a Victorian postbox. The church of St.Cuthbert "was formerly a chapel of ease of Haltwhistle and was... restored in 1884 athough the east part seems to date from c.1500..... The large corbels flanking the east window with chevron and sunk-star ornament may be genuine c.12 work". Nikolaus Pevsner et.al. "The Buildings of England Northumberland".
