Lovely staff and young people
like
This is a great school: it has been a fantastic transition from primary education for our son. Staff genuinely care about student welfare and he has developed confidence and focus as a result. Great opportunities are on offer both in and outside of the classroom.
2 of my children have attended HMS and both have thoroughly enjoyed their time there. The eldest, in particular, blossomed in confidence and was sad to move on at the end of year 8. Strong music, sports & art depts and the academic results speak for themselves. The staff are dedicated and enthusiastic, achieving great things in spite of a lack of resources due to government funding.
Shame about the memories of abuse from the 1980s
spent a day working with year 6. such a lovely school and the kids where excellent.
