Hadrian's Wall is the north west Frontier of the Roman Empire. We are responsible for co-ordinating management of the WHS on behalf of the WHS Management Plan Committee; a holistic approach to protection and visitor management; strategic planning for interpretation, access and learning; sustainable tourism development (heritage, landscape, communities, local businesses); and domestic and international destination communications for the Hadrian's Wall Country destination brand.
